Significance: architecture, education Landmark designation: Narrative: see below References: see below | Narrative: This building, with its stucco and half-timber exterior, is an excellent example of the English House Style. It was constructed with a gift from the widow of Portland Industrialist Peter R. Mann. The money was to be used to construct a separate women's dormitory. The structure has been preserved and is still in use today as a Residence Hall. It was enlarged in 1992, almost doubling its size while maintaining its architectural character. | References: | | I.
